Zellige refers to the Moroccan tiles which are well known for its geometric shapes and used as a decorative statement of luxury and sophistication. The small size of the Zellige Acoustic Panel makes it ideal for small spaces but they can also be used to cover large areas. These acoustic panels are very versatile and by using colour shades and colour groups in a cluster of acoustic panels you can create some very visually effective effects.
The actual size of the Zellige Acoustic Panels may be small however the absorption they offer when the panels are clustered together will help to bring echo in any space down to a controlled level. The Zellige Acoustic Panels will help to improve the room's acoustics to create an environment that is more comfortable for working and learning thus improving productivity.
These acoustic panels like all our designer acoustic panels are constructed from 25mm open cell acoustic foam which is mounted onto 6mm MDF. These are then wrapped in a open weave cloth with a choice of 31 different colours.
The Zellige Acoustic Panels are suitable for use in the commercial sector for acoustically treating offices, meeting rooms, teleconference rooms, videoconference rooms and boardrooms. They are also suitable for use in the education sector for treating classrooms, dining halls, assembly halls and lecture theatres. These acoustic panels will reduce reverberation and echo and thus improve speech intelligibility. Once the acoustic panels are installed you will have a space that is more comfortable to work or learn in resulting in greater productivity from your staff or students.
Our Zellige Acoustic Panels are manufactured in the UK and are all made to order. We use hardwearing materials that will stand the test of time and also meet with stringent fire regulations so you can be sure that our products are safe for use. The cloth we have selected is a 100% recycled polyester which has a high abrasion resistance so even if the acoustic panels are to be placed in high traffic areas or in areas that will be subject to a lot of rubbing or being bumped into the cloth will not bobble or fade.

Our Office Acoustic Panels are very easy to install. They are supplied with mirror plates in order for you to mount the acoustic panels to the wall or ceiling. The only thing that isn’t supplied are the screws and plugs. The correct fixing method depends on whether you are fixing to plasterboard, brick or concrete. Check with an experienced tradesman if you aren’t sure what fixing method is best. The acoustic panels are relatively light so you will only need to use 30mm long screws to mount the panels with.
Sometimes the panels are shipped with the mirror plates facing inwards to protect them during shipping. Before attempting to mount the panels you may need to turn the plates around so that the mounting hole is exposed.
Offer up the panel in the location where you wish to fit it. Mark the wall with a pencil where the fixings need to go. Drill the holes with a suitable drill bit and insert the plugs. Offer up the panel again and fix into place with your choice of screws. Repeat until all panels are fitted.
If the panels are intended to be butted up to each other you may need to relocate the mirror plates so that they don’t foul on each other. If you are fitting the panels in rows install the bottom row of panels first and sit the next row of panels on top. In this case slide the next panel in place. Any mirror plates that will be covered by the row below can just sit between the panel and the mounting surface. Use all the remaining mirror plates that you have access to to mount the panel in place.
