Advanced Acoustics 30" x 30" 2" S.E.A.M. Acoustic Studio Foam Tile Pack

Introducing our 2" S.E.A.M. Acoustic Foam Tile Packs, a simple yet highly effective solution for achieving superior acoustic treatment in your studio. Each box contains 6 individual acoustic foam tiles, meticulously designed to optimize sound absorption and improve the overall acoustic performance of your space. With a dimension of 762mm (30") by 762mm (30"), a thickness of 50mm and an NRC of 0.95, these tiles offer excellent sound control capabilities.  The oversized panel allows you cover large areas quickly and effectively.  Plus as all our products are shipped uncompressed the foam tiles are ready to install straight out of the box.

Installing clusters of these acoustic tiles in a square or diamond orientation around the room, particularly at first reflection points and key areas, will significantly enhance acoustic clarity and eliminate unwanted distortion. These versatile tiles can also be layered to further improve mid and lower-end frequency absorption, ensuring a balanced and precise sound reproduction.

Streamline your acoustic treatment decisions by utilizing our practical 'Coverage Calculator' Tab, ensuring you get the right amount of treatment for your studio.

Our S.E.A.M. Acoustic Tiles excel at controlling mid to high frequencies, effectively reducing echo and controlling reverberation. They can be seamlessly mixed with our other 30" Studio Foam Tiles, allowing you to unleash your creativity and design a unique acoustic environment.

    Performance Data

2" S.E.A.M. Acoustic Foam Tile Pack Performance Data

Installing our acoustic foam tiles is very simple. The first step to take is to work out your preferred layout of acoustic tiles. Do a sketch on paper first to make sure that the layout looks right and you have enough acoustic foam and space for your planned design. It is best to have small to medium sized clusters of acoustic foam tiles evenly distributed as opposed to one huge cluster of tiles in the middle of a wall.

Once the acoustic tiles are mounted to the wall or ceiling they are hard to remove so it is important to get the layout right before you begin. Once you have a sketch of the layout you plan you can then mark up the wall with the layout. You can either use pencil, masking tape or lasers to layout the design on the wall or ceiling.

When mounting the acoustic tiles to the wall apply Advanced Acoustics Contact Adhesive to both the back of the tile and the mounting surface. There is no need to heavily cover the acoustic foam or wall with adhesive, a band of adhesive around the perimeter of the tile along with 50% - 75% coverage of the rest of the tile will be fine. Use the same equivalent amount on the wall. Avoid overspray on the tile and the wall so that adhesive can’t be seen when the tiles are in place. Masking Tape on the wall will help with this. If you do get webbing overspray on the tile, don’t touch it, allow it to dry, in most cases you will be able to peel the adhesive off.

The adhesive we supply is solvent based so we recommend that you keep all doors of the room and any windows open whilst completing the installation.

If you prefer to have a more temporary installation of acoustic tiles you can mount the tiles onto 6mm MDF or ply to create panels of acoustic tiles. These panels can then be hung on the wall using a D-Ring and picture hook for a damage free installation. If fitting them to a ceiling then 4 mirror plates would be required.
