Advanced Acoustics 15" x 15" F.A.T. Standard Acoustic Studio Foam Tile Pack
Introducing the 15" F.A.T. Acoustic Tile Pack, an enduring studio classic described by many as the fundamental of acoustic treatment. The F.A.T. stands for Fundamental Acoustic Treatment, reflecting its importance in establishing a solid foundation for acoustic control within your studio. Featuring the distinctive egg-crate or convoluted profile, these tiles offer exceptional sound diffusion and absorption properties.
What's Included in the 15" F.A.T. Acoustic Tile Pack? 24 acoustic tiles are contained in each box, with each tile measuring 381mm by 381mm and 40mm thick at its peak. This pack covers a total area of 3.48sqm (37.5sqft), making it an ideal solution for various studio sizes. For optimal aesthetic appeal, we recommend leaving a 20-40mm gap between each tile, allowing them to showcase their classic effect against a contrasting wall colour. With an NRC of 0.55, these acoustic tiles are particularly effective in treating vocal booths, podcast studios, and similar spaces. All tiles are dispatched uncompressed from our UK production facility, reflecting our commitment to delivering quality products. Available in Mid Grey.
Take the first step towards perfecting your studio's acoustics with our intuitive 'Coverage Calculator' Tab, designed to calculate the optimal amount of treatment for your space.
Experience the Benefits of F.A.T. Acoustic Tiles:
Studio Classic Profile: The egg-crate or egg-box profile has long been synonymous with studios. It provides a cost-effective yet high-performing solution for acoustic treatment, effectively managing sound reflections and reverberations.
Improved Acoustic Clarity: Cluster these acoustic tiles in a random arrangement around the studio, focusing on first reflection points and key areas. This strategic placement enhances acoustic clarity while eliminating unwanted distortions. The tiles' effectiveness in controlling mid to high frequencies significantly reduces echo and promotes controlled reverberations.
Versatile Design Possibilities: The random profile of F.A.T. Acoustic Tiles means that leaving a 20mm gap between tiles will give you optimal aesthetic performance. These tiles can also be seamlessly integrated with our other 15" Studio Foam Tiles, such as the 15" Tegular Acoustic Tile, to create a truly unique and artistic acoustic treatment solution.
Dedicated Craftsmanship and Sustainability: Our commitment to excellence extends to the production process and materials we use. Our foam is engineered for durability, ensuring it remains intact and effective over time.
