The Advanced Acoustics Bass Trap Corner Fill is a 305mm open-cell polyurethane acoustic foam cube, measuring 305mm × 305mm × 305mm (12" × 12" × 12"). The Corner Fill is a unique product in the Advanced Acoustics bass trap range — designed to fill the tri-corner, the junction where two walls and the ceiling meet, which is the point of greatest low-frequency energy accumulation in a room. Where standard 2ft and 3ft corner bass traps treat the vertical wall-wall corners and horizontal wall-ceiling corners, the Corner Fill addresses the tri-corner itself — the intersection of both.
The cube format is designed to integrate with the 12" bass trap range, sitting at the top of stacked vertical corner traps to complete the corner treatment into the tri-corner. Installation
Install the Bass Trap Corner Fill in the tri-corner — the junction where two walls and the ceiling meet — where low-frequency energy accumulation is greatest. The cube is designed to sit at the top of stacked vertical 12" corner bass traps, completing the corner treatment into the tri-corner. Fix using Advanced Acoustics Contact Adhesive applied to the rear face of the cube and the tri-corner surfaces. Allow the adhesive to become touch-dry before bringing the surfaces together — contact adhesive bonds on contact, so position the cube carefully before pressing it into the tri-corner. Ensure adequate ventilation throughout installation — the adhesive is solvent-based.
