Included in the kit are 8x 18mm thick platform boards which will allow you to create a platform sized 2.4m x 2.4m. Also included are 12x platform strips to sit the platform on. If you prefer to create a smaller platform using less boards then this is perfectly fine, however you will still need to use the full complement of platform strips for adequate weight support. If using the full amount of boards you will need to glue the foam strips to the backside of the boards with a 360mm gap between each strip. If using less you boards you will need to calculate the correct gap between each strips so that they are distributed evenly.
We would recommend that you begin by laying the boards out on the floor upside down and pushing all the boards together to make up the overall size of the platform. Be careful not to damage any of the tongues. Next lay the platform strips in place on the boards making sure that the 2.4m edges of the platform and the edge of the strips are flush. The strips should be placed so that they are 100mm wide and 50mm tall. The strips may be slightly long but they can be compressed to fit the board it required. Once you have laid all the strips out and they are evenly distributed you can now glue the strips to the boards using our contact adhesive (not supplied). Because of the rigid nature of the boards it does not matter that the strips don’t land on the board joints.
Once all the strips are glued in place you can now separate the boards and flip them over so that the platform is strip side down, board side up. Take note of the order in which they go back together so that you maintain the even gaps of strips. You can now glue the boards together using PU adhesive (not supplied) ensuring the boards are tightly fitted and correctly aligned so that there are no gaps. The PU adhesive will bubble and expand, this is fine. Once the glue is fully hardened you can trim the excess glue back.
The platform is now ready to use. If you wish you can fit carpet on top of the platform or our Silent Floor Ultra for that extra level of impact noise reduction, followed by carpet

Orders with a value of £0.00 to £54.99 have a £7.00 carriage charge with tracked next working day delivery.
Orders with a value of 55.00 to £99.99 have a £12.00 carriage charge with tracked next working day delivery.
Orders with a value of £100.00 or more qualify for free next day shipping.
Excluded Items
For carts which contain Plasterboard, Soundproofing Mat, SilentBoard, QuietPanel, Silent Floor Ultra, M20 and R10 the following charges apply
£8.00 carriage for the first item and £4.00 carriage for every item added up to a maximum charge of £75.00.
Some soundproofing items have a minimum order due to shipping constraints.
Bulk Products have a £75.00 pallet charge per item.
Returns
Our policy lasts 30 days. If 30 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately we can’t offer you a refund or exchange. To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.
Non-returnable items:- Made to order items such as our Office Acoustic Panels and High End Audio Acoustic Panels, Gift cards.
To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase. Please contact us for your return authorisation number. Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item.
Exchanges
